There are plenty of videos online showing tips for creating sounds using Xfer's hugely popular Serum synth, but you can't beat a more structured approach to learning such a complex instrument. There are 45 chapters in total, with the opening modules focusing on introducing the oscillators, filters, mod matrix, FX and Global Settings, followed by a detailed guide to Wavetable synthesis and how it's implimented in Serum. Everything here is clearly explained in depth, with a range of useful real-world examples that put everything into context.
