One feature that is making an impact with the Loopcloud community is the AI sound-matching technology. If you’ve not tried it out yet, what are you waiting for? All you have to do is select a sound you like and you’ll instantly get a curated selection of complementary loops and samples that work alongside your chosen sound.
How does the sound-matching algorithm work?
The technology behind the algorithm is provided by our friends at Jamahook. Jamahook analyses your chosen sound and suggests new samples that will complement it perfectly. The technology takes many factors into consideration: mood, tempo, key, genre, and instrumentation.
The sound-matching algorithm searches through your personal collection and the Loopcloud library to find sounds that will work together with your source sound. It won’t magically create your track for you, but it will give you a push in the right direction. It may even open up completely new creative directions.
