We were expecting a collection of 'groove shadows' for underpinning drum loops, but this one's actually a conventional 172bpm DnB library that pushes all the right buttons without bringing anything particularly new to the table - not that it has to, of course! The 40 stemmed drum loops are confident, pacy and diverse; the basses twist and grizzle like they should; and the adeptly programmed pads, atmospheres and synths are colourful and varied in their presentation. Inadvertently misleading name aside, this is a solid choice for contemporary drum 'n' bass production.
