The British Music Library are passionate about authentic vintage sounds.

We don’t use emulations or digital recreations, just the recording techniques from the good ol’ days.

Whether it’s drum breaks, analogue synth sounds, or melodic instrument samples, it all gets the magnetic recording treatment.

Every sound we record is tracked to one of the many reel-to-reel recorders we have added to our arsenal over the years, and we love to add some spring reverb or tape echo when we want some spice on that rich, full sound.
