The included Latin styles and grooves are delicious and very well suited for the dancefloors. This collection includes percussion sounds such as caxixis, agogos, tamborins, shakers, blocks, berimbaus, cowbells, ganzas, triangles and whistles. There’s also a plethora of combo percussion loops made up from a varied combination of the instruments above. Way cool. The folders are properly labeled, giving you a flexible, easy solution to immediately construct song ideas. All of the samples are recorded in pristine 44.1 kHz/24-bit high-quality format, and the performance is pretty solid. The sounds on this sample pack are very organic and have a vibe that is oozing with fire. I find this pack best used when augmented with four-on-the-floor type of loops – aka TR-909 patterns to create percussion house music. With that being said, Disco Latino is great accompaniment library if you want to create layers and layers of epic percussion loops.
