In the past I enjoyed reviewing many of Freaky Loops’ titles, so it’s nice to see a title you don’t hear too often. This sample pack is a collection of ethnic samples with a cinematic feel. It’s full of emotional orchestrations to magical vocal swells, smooth and inspiring melodies to ethnic instruments and exotic percussions for cinematic, electronica, experimental, film score and more. As the name suggest, Ethnic Cinema is geared to help composers create soundtracks, TV and film music, media content, cues, jingles and game music with an exotic ethnic twist. This pack is broken into two main folders of Loops and One Shot. In the Loops folder, you’ll find atmospheres, melodics and percussion sounds, while the One Shots folder includes sub-folders of FX, melodics and percussions. There are plenty of sounds for sure, and you won’t be short on sampling material. Not only that Ethnic Cinema sounds great, but it is inspiring. It definitely has that cinematic, soundscape feel. I think the 49 percussion loops are the main draw of this library. The programming and sound design on the atmospheric samples are top notch. This is a treasure box of useful samples.
