Finding a well-judged balance of lo-fi grit and polished lustre, Voyage's 2.4GB library of loops, one-shots, multisamples and Serum presets makes rich pickings for producers of all contemporary downtempo styles. The beats are phat and controlled, and sit well under the sequenced percussion lines and live breaks, while the synth and synth bass loops cover plenty of ground. The real treat, though, are the sublime acoustic, electric and bass guitar loops, bringing a real human dimension.
