Lack of Afro, AKA Adam Gibbons, returns with a new collection of funk and soul song kits. There are 149 loops, with each kit broken down into several sections so you can rebuild your track as you choose. Alongside a solid set of funky guitars, rhythmic basslines, lively keys and horns, and driving acoustic drums and percussion, you'll also find more unexpected mellotron, Solina string and synth parts. The performances are excellent and each instrument has been captured and engineered by Peter Mills of Middle Farm Studios in Devon. The loops have been processed for maximum warmth and character. Everything is production ready with a professional sheen but that also reduces the flexibility in terms of your own mixing choices.
